Dr. Daniel Hellmann works since many years as researcher at the University of Heidelberg. His projects are funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and focus on the topics of oral physiology and biomechanics, as well as the functional interaction between the temporomandibular system and body posture.
His clinical work focuses on the diagnostics and therapy of dysfunctions of the temporomandibular system and aesthetic/functional prosthodontics. Since 2012, beside his university based scientific work, he also works in his own clinic at his hometown Aalen.
